mk3 (mk2f) polo project

Featured Replies

my mate stu had to give up and sell his mk1burgandy golf project over 2 years ago due to lack of funds and personal priblems, but now he's back with me to lend a hand,on another project... Drum roll please....

Its a polo mk2f coupe, some of you will reconise it for those who are local to us, but has been off the road for a couple of years, now I have my mits on it!

we have big plans for it and have already started, he bought it in november or december 2011 and have already made a start on it.

It already had smooth bumpers and is a great shell so hopefully next year it will be unveiled at the cumbriaVAG show.

All I can say is watch this space....

as the mechanic stu has already ripped the wiring loom, engine and box out, replaced the seats with porsche tombstones, wheras iv been left with the front end and the rest of the body work.

smoothed bumpers are off as they need repairing, the boots been half smoothed this week,

some of the future plans consist of, new engine, retrim, respray and othe bits etc,

Will need parts and be asking about for a mk2f (mk3) polo and a 16v 6n donor cars as I need parts,

this build threat will be pic heavy :)
