Rightio, as nobody answered my thread about the Girl I thought I would start a new project thread about it rather than updating the old one.

I have a thing about naming all of my personal cars & this one is called Cherrie.... (pronounced Cherry)

Here are the photos of her after given a good clean shortly after I bought it:

Now then, now that I have been under the car I can see NO rust what so ever, which made me happy, but I do need to remove the heat sheild as thats managed to bunch itself up in a couple places where it keeps getting caught on various things!

THE MODS:

Lowered (got to be either 80 or 100mm!)

G40 Wheels painted Gray

K&N filter

Motorbike exhaust

THE GOOD:

Only one patch of rust

Clean interior

engine sweet

Gearbox sweet

THE BAD:

Front suspension knocking

Brakes need cleaning & painting

Wiring needs sorting out

small scrape & dink on the NSR 1/4

What have I done?

Well so far I fitted a NEW heater matrix, had the NSF wheel bearing changed, changed the broken dash bulbs for some nice red LED's (see below!) & yesterday fitted some tinted windows into the back

Plans:

Fix front suspension

Refurbish the G40 wheels from dark gray to Anthrecite

remove dink and repaint the rear 1/4

Buy, rebuild & fit GT engine

Give Sextons lots of money in exhange for lots of Alpine goodies

Find a way of keeping the sub box still

Tint rear screen.

Right, now the dash

Its gone from this (fuse blew when the last bulb went)

To this temp job with standard bulbs and removed green filter

to this nice red LED's!!

Now all I need to do is figure out a way of getting a bit more light to the bottom of the Dials as its quite hard to see the Fuel gauge and numbers on the slow end of the speedo!

I shall be giving the interior a once over to sort out a couple things and a sodding good clean so I can get some shots of that & my tints.

Oh and before anyone mentions that the plates aren't legal I know.... I have swapped them back for the legal ones & I will be using the Pressed plates for photos & showing it off.
