Wow...I'm glad I.haven't put.any pics of my polo on here...some serious hating going on...I mean u build a car for you (or at least your suposed to) so while its nice for others to appreciate it, its all your own opinion that matters...when I built my Nissan 100nx I went euro not jap, I was 15 and hated the whole body kit and stupid spoiler thing...smoothing the bumpers etc gave me a different look and whilst the purists hated it not one of them of them slagged it off...mate keep up the work your an.inspiration to us all

also the last time i commented you said that the pics on page 5 were with a rear wheel on the front and that the fronts were actually smaller (I'm sure you did) so i think it will look slightly better

though i still stand by the fact that you will need 16s to pull of the hybrid bumper

make sure them arches are super smooth pal, hate seeing extended arches that ripple like a fat ladys arse.

I don't mind the width at all, it's just SOOOO important to me that the arches continue over the bumper and to the floor like I was saying. mk1's are a very similar size to mk4 polos, (believe me! i attempted to transfer silly amount of parts for my old unit as we had ruddy loads of the things comming though and being stripped the whole time!) but obviously the pannels are much boxxier

For me, I don't like the football shape wheels hanging out the corners... but i understand some people love this-

Personally I think you should extend the arches even further out to sit them flush with the rim...embrace the track look (on a practical level the po po will give you alot less stick!)

imagine the car above if it didn't have the complete arches and they were the same shape as yours...

I'm not being a bitch, in fact far from it- respect your balls out approach to this stuff- i'm just offering food for thought, the cars at wayyy to much of an early state to pass judgement-

Final idea, why not mock up some massive berg cup-esk arches out of cardboard? can't hurt to see what it would look like and may give you some ideas if nothing else :)

@codzilla. I know exactly what you mean about the coming down the bumper, but i don't really want some big gay arse splitter is my only problem.. They will come further down the bumper, they need to, it looks silly from behind otherwise (CraigBMX, eat your heart out at that comment you useless fuck!) I don't get what you mean by football shape arches btw?

I wanna sit them so they tuck the tyre slightly, like the rear does, which i shall do. I've got 12days essentially to get my car looking hopeful enough to get it finished by the 30th of May. Install is halfway there, dash is almost finished, seat rails are done just waiting to be welded up and welded in. Holy fuck its going to be tight, but i'm gonna give it a damn good go.

IF anyone in the local area has a garage i can use for two weeks with power/lights and work through the weekends and untill stupid o'clock untill in, then it'd be massively appreciated and i will pay!

If your strapped for time and need some help give me a pm bud, can't offer the unit though it's packed as it is!

looks awesome from the front tbh, be perfect if you made the wheels fit the car rather than make the car with the wheels though, but that just my opinion.

could look awesome from the rear too, just think that its a shame the flare cant start from further up the quarter so it doesnt look so extreme, just kinda protrudes out at the minute
