Nah..I wasn't going to tell many people about this or make it publicly aware.

Theres TWO massive problems with the polo which have been found over the last week, hence the lack of updates and me saying i was angry.

1. The car has been in a bad, bad crash, the whole rear end and chassis are twisted right the way down to the front of the doors, so nothing lines up properly, boot, doors, rear lights, bumper etc. Which means i'd be building/built a car that's on the piss, so it'll never look right.

2. Where the cars been hit, it's cause some floorpan damage up the front, presumably where it's crumpled and been 'straightened' which has led to rust, alot of rust, i haven't chased it back to see exactly how bad it is yet, but so far, you can get a hand through the hole, which is within 30cm's of the seatbelt mounting point, so its structural.

I'm in two minds as to what to do. I didn't really want to post this up because i have a feeling i'll get a fair amount of replies saying keep it, finish it, blah blah blah.

I have two options basically.

1. Sell all exterior parts off of it, scrap the shell. Keep all my interior and suspension and transfer them onto a 6n2, which is what i wanted to do after the purple one originally, but this came up cheap from a 'mate' i now know why it was cheap.

2. Finish it to the best standard i can, waste a shit load more money on a fucked car and take fast car up on their offer, then strip it and scrap it.

Either way, it's getting scraped either now or in a few months time. More than likely now, so that i don't pour anymore money ontop of the thousands that i've already spent in parts alone.

I don't seem to have luck with 6n's, so it's time to try a 6n2.

theres a gti shell on here for £100, came up today, i wouldnt waste your time just to scrap it after, go for a 6n2 and then redo the crazy arches bro!
