I think your £2 is safe guys, got a text this morning to say he has the money but will give it to his brother to pay into my account tomorrow morning I understand that people can have difficult circumstances; my job is on the line at the moment because we simply don't have enough customers, but the fact he is spending my money on paying off his debts while I'm here struggling away gets to me a bit! Also, he has paid £100 back which is a start, but it's been 7 weeks. At this rate, I'll have the full £475 back in 34 weeks.. 8.5 months!

Shit happens and some times situations can get pretty shitty, things is tho lying isn't going to improve what's going on here its only going to make it worse and you look even more dodgy. If you have found yourself in a proper shitty situation and are trying to get back on your feet then I'd suggest being 100% truthful with the lad who paid for the wheels and keep him up todate all the way, he seems to have been very understanding about this so tbh its the least you could do for him

Let me tell you a story, when I first meet him. I paid the money into his account, as you said he seem genuine. That £150~ was for a set of Recaro CC seats that he was supposed to pick up from the scrappy in Reading for me. The day he was supposed to pick them up has gone and he has stopped replying. I went to Reading (about 100mile trip) to talk to him, he was full of shit! Coming up with excuses, then trying to blame me for scratching his car on purpose even though I didn't even get anywhere near it! His boss started threatening me, and I couldn't do nothing at the time. However he has paid my money back after a while, so I do hope you will get your money back too! Hope the phone number and facebook profile is at least a bit of help.

Thanks for all the help guys! Iscariot, I'm sure he will get a shock! I really hope it doesn't result to paying him a visit but we'll see how it goes. Mclovin, none of his excuses add up at all! If he was upfront and told me he didn't have the money, but came up with a plan to pay me a certain amount every week/two weeks and actually stuck to it I wouldn't mind. But as it is he promises it will be a certain amount very soon and it ends up being half the amount a week later. I will keep you updated on what happens.
