For sale.

Volkswagen polo coupe 1.3i

K reg fitted with catalyst.

Harder to come by 5spd gearbox model.

Generally the car is in very good condition, usual carpark dings and rust scabs. Unfortunately the bonnet has been vandalised and the rear quarter has had some custom art work carried out on it. Not my cup of tea but the general consensus says it's 'winning.'

Right I bought the car with the intention of fitting an r1 engine in the back, the car is really tidy, well compared to my other polos so I thought I'd give it a second chance, with someone who could spare cutting it up etc.

It's lightly modified, runs lower than standard polos, has a side exit exhaust and rolls on mk1 caddy steels.

The car has no tax or mot, although a local garage has 'pre' mot'd it for me so I can tell you what to expect. I've only ever driven the car up and down my lane, to get it to and from a trailer to move so I can only give you advise for the Mot.

Bad bits-

Keyed bonnet

Rocker cover oil leak

Battery is flat (starts off a jump)

Mot work needed-

Nearside front c.v gaiter split

Both front tyres need replacing

Exhaust system has major leak

Exhaust system is inadequately supported.

*advisories (so will pass with these in this condition.)

Both from macphearson upper support bearing have slight play.

Both front shock absorbers provide little damping effort.

Front brake discs corroded slightly.

So all in all needs very little work, it's just not for me.

Any questions please ask, I'm selling sold as seen, will need to be trailered away.

Car located in west wales.

Thank you for your interest, Aled.
