my mk3 polo coupe project :)

Featured Replies

well I've been a member for a while now but never got round to making a thread for my car..

My orignal plans were for my breadvan but that got written off by my mate :-(

Sooo afterwards i found this beaut on ebay for £500. its a SPI 1.3.

looked 1000 times worse than this when i got it..ran like a bag of shit and the exhaust fell off that same night..

so after many hours t-cutting and polishing and waxing and doing the headgasket and the engine breather and full service now runs/looks pukka :D

plans are:

- refurb my mk1 scrirroco wheels and spray them candy white (which i bought for a tenner! ) and then put lower profile/slight stretched tyres on them. that tenner also included a genuine polo roofrack which i shall also spray candy white :-D

- lower probably 60/40 but not overly sure yet.

- sort out the few little bits of rust and niggles as there annoying me -.-

- spray the rocker cover and clean up all the engine bay and underneath the bonnet.

- eventually get a full stainless exhaust system.

- just generally make it look and run as good as possible.
