iv just got the lupo whilst my polo gets better and wanting something different eg full car wrap or full car spray

can any one advise witch is better for the cost also how much would it cost

also some places for it done in south yorkshire area but dont mind a travel as its only a 1.0L haha

i really want my lupo to stand out so I'm thinking RS green with carbon wrap bonnet (bad boy bonnet if i can get one ) and roof also want the audi front with all audi rs grills

like the picture but without side skirts and with the carbon wrap bits

id get it sprayed dude. do the prep work yourself to save money

for good wrapping the paint needs to be immaculate anyway.

i cant help but think that when these cars have been wrapped for a couple of years they are going to look dreadful with fade occuring, and what if it bubbles over time? id go for spraying it.

Haha a ugly Brussels sprout its not that bad if not what about full carbon wrap for stealth or full Matt black and how much a we saying for a full car wrap if i bought the wrap first so just needs fitting

If you were gonna create a sensible, tastefully finished car for longevity, i'd suggest paint. Vinyl isn't truly permanent.

But as the look you're going for is brave, extreme and fashionable, and therefore will date quickly and need to be changed in a few years, then you might as well go concept style full-on and be bold with vinyl. It's removable, after all.

a decent wrap will set you back around £1200, if the car is a clean thing then this may be a good idea so when you come to sell you can put it to standard, average price of a good respray is £1300-£1800 possibly more depending on what state the car is in and for any additional mods you may want to do. as for the comment someone made about doing the prep work yourself to keep costs down, if your wanting it to look good then leave it to the pros, prep is the most important part of a paint job and poor prepwork will make the best painters work look crap, from what you said you were after in your first post, 3stage rs green,badboy bonnet, audi style bumper, we'd be looking at pricing in the region of £1900+ for a job like that www.jessopmotorbodies.co.uk

what the douce! a mate of mine is wrapping his whole car in carbon but he's doing it himself, damn if i new it was that much i would have asked him to do mine :) think he paid £180 ish for 10 meters he got a discount from vinylmodz

Can't imagine wraps will look that good after a few washes. Cause I can't imagine you can polish it or anything. Why not just get a green Lupo to start off with an paint the bits you wanna change as they come in bright green anyway?

Its about 4 different paints layered to get it right. I'd not advise it.

A, you need skill if your doing it yourself

B, you need a big bank balance if your paying to have it done.

C, you cant simply spray one panel if you have a bump, it will never match.

Looks good, but its useless
