To be fair 'boring' is subjective and they are rare enough, only around 290 left in the country.

Having owned two of them I can tell you 100% that in this case boring is not subjective, and they are very shit

no cars at shows guys, it misses the point- these beauties have got to be on there own really in places you dont expect to see them!

My M8s Shelby Mustang, Running 750bhp. 120mph in 3rd gear and the rear wheel still spinning up. :p

Not sure on what it is but in the snow it was going flat out on our country lanes and never even flinched a corner. Was friggin cold in the back though.

It's a Reynoulds Broughton. Basically R-B took a Dodge 50 5 tonne van, jacked it up, gave it 4wd and made it fit for our boys. I keep thinking about buying one....

That's not a quattro, that's a GT Coupe. It's two wheel drive, with a Golf GTI 8v engine (mounted longitudinally) - not rare in terms of production volumes, but yes I doubt many are left.

Dammit! One night a month or two ago I was in Asda in my Mark2, and it was like an 80s revival going off. I parked next to a Mark2 Fiesta, which in turn was parked across from a Mark2 Escort 3 door estate. Typically I didnt think to take a picture.

Unless its a Coupe Quattro? The 4 wheel drive from its more expensive brother, but with the N/A engines, most commonly the 2.2 5 pot.

Not many of either left, seen as GTs and other lesser Coupe's often go on to supply the Quattros with parts, and the boot floors and windscreen frame have a nasty habbit of rotting.

Gearboxes and rear axles are nigh on impossible to find. Had 2 in for service ALOT at my old place. Bits were a bitch to find, Rear axle was imported from the congo in the end
