mk3 sump.. Not a straight fit is it though .. have to change pick up and cut the oil check down etc :(

I'm selling the other engine to my mate .. I'll run it with the afh sump for now and if i have problems ill sort it then lol .. May be putting 15's on it soon anyway

How bad is the Afh sump?? i leaving mine on, I'm just over 80 on 14's , reckon ill get away with running it ?

Jamie just weld a bit more metal to the bottom of the sump while the engine is out, trust me its a shit load easier than trying to do it once you have a battered and split sump and the engine is fully in the car

You may not split it but its one of those things that's well worth doing just to be safe

Iscarits wasn't a standard -80mm kit tho Ben he had chopped the springs down. I had a 80 kit on my first GT and had massive arch gap on the power techs. On the mk2 on the techs there was no arch gap, I put the 14's on and had arch gap (low pros on the 14's giving smaller rolling radius than the techs) so I dropped it another inch on the fronts

The moral of this long winded and probably confusing tail is the mk2 is a fair mount lower than -80, and its actually lower on the 14's than it was on the power techs

The only thing that put me off getting some for my GT was the poke, they are a really nice looking wheel but mad poke is gay

i know man, even the ones with dish look good.

with stretched tyres and spacers on the rear they can be pulled off, but i didnt want to replace my 175 contisports with some budget 165's lol.

i was gonna see about getting the back face machined down slightly ect but then i realised the brake caliper will foul. problem after problem! lol
