Also, had my fogs on on the way up there, came back to the carpark to see my drivers side for unit just hanging from the car, all scratched, and oddly all melted :?

Thought I saw you in the distance on the way down to U.D and came belting down the motorway to catch up, only to find it wasn't you..

Gutted!

Toby that sticker is bum toss..... tbh I'd be pissed if someone put a sticker on my car...

Really doesn't bother me, i know who it was so its cool

IF it'd have been on the paintwork though, then it'd be another matter entirely.

I can get this off in 30 seconds if needs be, no harm done :)

BTW, It's a keeper for this year ;)

melted nice person by B-shaw55, on Flickr

Was being a BOSS and reppin fogs on the way up, then as i was driving past UD itself i could hear something catching, thought nothing of it as i was so fucked at the traffic.

Walked back after and could see it hanging from the car, bastard!

Dunno whats happened, heat from the bulb has melted it but surely it should be able to take hear from the bulb???

Cant see the pic but how have you got your fogs wired up and with what bulbs?

I got a relayed loom from eBay a few years ago and got a pair of Osram nightbreakers that Christmas. A week later I ended up melting the bracket and the bulb melted itself out of the lense itself!

After that I reverted to the original loom and kept the Nightbreakers!

Also got a relayed loom, only way i could as i don't have an original loom...

Standard bulbs.

Probably too much power to the bulbs - if at all possible?!

  • Author

Possibly, god knows!

Need to take the other off and check that but its too cold and they are too fiddly lol!

Just read the whole thread, Great read

Now I'm looking forward to seeing your new wheels on and rolling

Yeah, the back of Oli

Looks more nasty than on the video of you trying to fix it shame that is!

I was there, but just a spectator. still a good car to see in the flesh.

What was wrong? blocked breather and oil flowing out the dip stick?

bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap ... crash.

sick weekend tbf. how did getting up at 4:30 go down ? x

Lmao, pulling into the queue hearing toby shouting at me

yam yam yam look at the front of me caaaaar!

what happened?

crashed into oli.

lol.

your oil gone down since the NJH performance developments drunken bbq bodge?

lmao oli he got home bare quick so prob didnt need to leave at 4.30am

what actually happened then mate? you crash ino something?

Basically when we came off the Mway someone decided they wanted a last minute lunge before the lane filtered down into 1 - some random beetle, so Oli braked hard cause they cut him up, and then the lights changed also so basically stopped last minute for the lights, and Toby just couldnt quite stop in time, caved the front of his Polo in and didnt leave a mark on Olis.

I slowed it down well i think.

I just thought Oli was slowing, not actually stopping, so i continued as i was due to there being a fair gap, then lights went orange so i put my foot down. then realized oli was actually not moving so slammed brakes on.

Cant have been more than 10-15mph impact, probably less. Hardly felt it, felt like id driven into a big marshmallow or something, just bounced back a little

Be reet though, luckily its an easy fix.

More pissed at the fog breaking tbh, bear expensive.
