With a tear in my eye, and an awful feeling in my stomach, I come bearing terrible news.
Today I found out that in May, the Lad I sold this to, Sam Powell, was involved in a major accident. The polo was totalled, and Sam died at the scene.

I'm not really sure what to say.

RIP Sam, my thought's go out to all of his friends and family. Most of all his children and other half.
Also, RIP to my darling polo. The car that'd been through everything with me for 7 or so years.
The car that bought me here, and led to me meeting all the great people throughout the years.

Gutted about this, I always thought that one day, maybe I'll buy it back :(

That was such a shock to read, had to read it a few times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Wasnt this polo....
Was Sam's other 'blue polo'
Was told it was defo this one by a supposed close friend of Sam's
Later spoke to his Girlfriend, was the polo he came down in when he viewed this (Windsor blue one iirc)
This polo followed the hearse at the funeral And is currently being looked after by family.
They even plan to get it to some shows next year.

Still awful what happened, but I'm glad this is still about.

I'll try get them involved in the club if at all possible. Hopefully get it back on a club stand.

awful what happened to Sam and at such a young age, obviously I don't know him personally but I read the news report online. Be good to get his family on here with the car too
