Had a quick read through this, so many memorys from when i had mine. It's come such a long way. Fair play for still going, AFH will make it as quick as it should have been years ago!

You could always have two wheels, one for spirited driving etc, the G40 one for shows etc,

Not sure it will as it is atm.

I'm worried about oil starvation due to the shallow sump etc. That dude with the cream MK1 killed 2 or 3 engines due to that. So I'm not keen on hooning round a track just yet.

Unless i can find something to stop/help stop anything like that happening.

And its fucking low man, down pipe is going to catch on everything. I should have had it shortened before, but i didnt expect it to be so bad. CBA with taking it off now as it means all arb n shit has to come off too.

It WILL (100% this time) be hitting the ring next year, after I've made it a little more track friendly. They are my only plans for it after fitting the PLS,

Shorten the downpipe and fit anything that will help with oil starvation.

Saw some of those sump plates on ebay.de, might help a bit, and if i baffle the sump. Possibly fit an oil cooler too, thats another of your worst enemies on a track, oil going too hot and thin as fuck. And with the ring being more than 10 mins of none stop abuse at a time... will be beneficial.
