Need spacers!

Only for the front. rear is already poking a lot. Going to take bumpstops out the front, camber it and pack em out with 10 maybe 15mm spacers. The rear is fine it's onlt the front that needs tweaking, will get deeper dishes come summer

Haha funnily enough my tyre guy said it was holding air easily so my next step is to go with wider dishes and give him a challenge. 9J with 165/40's?

My best mate dazza had that spec on his bagged 4 door fez' schmidts and it didnt hold, so challenge accepted, the dishes are gonna go black, as for centres, not too sure yet.

Been getting quite a lot of hate on the stretch from numerous forums. So firstly thanks guys and secondly if the nankangs fail me i will post up the pics and give you all permission to slate me but until then, I'm bausing it more than ron burgundy at a jazz flute gig! :p :p :p

That stretch is ridiculous!!! doesnt look good and your not low enough to warrant stretch like that!! whats the point of it???

as for the comment "my tyre guy said" - does the guy lick windows at weekends too??? because yeh it may hold air easily but it aint gonna hold you to the road, even less so in the weather were having at the minute.

plus the exhaust looks stupid as fuck too!! things like that are okay on a retro car but this is a 6n so therefore a fail!!! not sure on the legality of having a sharp edge exposed aswell!!

but on that note of much hatred for your car, good luck with the project, look forward to the pics of this getting scrapped but hope you dont get hurt in the process

Well dude thanks for your hatred as i love to hear what people have to say good or bad. But let me clear up a few points:

1) No my tyre fitter does not lick windows for a living, i believe that job is reserved for you.

2) Your right, it will not hold me to the road in the ice that i have NOT seen round my way, but if it does come in my direction i shall simply swap the schmidts for either my steelies, my audi pepperpots, or the forthcoming escort cossies I'm buying before xmas (oh wait maybe not the cossies as they have dangerous stretch too) but hey at least i have choice

3) Your entitled to your opinion of my stupid exhaust, it looks even more stupid when i put the tractor flap on in the rainy weather! But dont you ever state wether something is a fail or not, it's not your call, I dont think you wrote the law on what is acceptable or not, i will never state if something is a fail or not on another car as it is their car and not mine, i would say that i would not have done it but would respect their choice.

4) Yep it may have a sharp edge, but so do scissors, but they are not illegal are they

5) Scrap "Eboue the Polo?" thats a cool story bro! But one that wont come true anytime soon, i've got 2 more restyles coming for him so maybe in 4 or 5 years time. Its nice to know that when i get bored of this project i can just turn to my e28 5 series WINNING!!!
