hi i am experienceing a humming noise inside the car when the engine is running(moving or stationary) it seems to be coming from the black box with pipes coming from it which you can feel vibrating but can hardly hear .any ideas how to stop this please?

Black box with the pipes? A little vague. Though I'm guessing the air box

You say that the noise is inside the car, is the 'black box with pipes coming from it' also inside the car? Also, could the 'pipes' be cables?
