Have you had a quote from a body shop at all?

its a bummer but not the end of the world, bodyshop can get that straight easily :)

Boyfriend bought me an HID kit to cheer me up!

And car will be fixed next week!

I tried to get insured on his car but i got told no! So he got me that instead haha!

Went to a place today and they said near £500 for it :(

Going to another place tomorrow see what there saying :)

Similar thing happened to my parent 6r on the door. Cost them £400 and it was more of a dent than a gouge. body work's pricey, especially when you consider it takes a fraction more paint but as much time and effort to clean equipment etc. whether your doing a whole panel, or a smart repair.

I can't understand why they charge more on newer cars, because the rest of the paintwork is brand new so you dont really have to spend that much time blending it in if you've done it right? Its alot more difficult on older cars I think...

Mine has a small dent in the scratch but nothing mayjor its just the gouge thats costing a bomb!
