I took the Eunos to the Pod on Saturday, it was great fun! The car took a good hammering with no issues. Not as quick as my golf was up the strip but much better at launches than it was

I did a 17.05 with a passenger, at 74mph

Blimey thats not bad then isit! Whats the power diffrence between the two? Can you mod the 1.6?

The JDM 1.6 is 115bhp out the box, and the early ones weighed 950kg

The 1.8s have 130bhp but weigh in at 1020 kg

There's not much to be gained from NA tuning on the JDM ones as they're pretty well set up from factory, but they will take a lot of boost on standard internals - my old man's Eunos is running about 235bhp at 11psi from an Eaton M45

Turbo kits cost about £500- 800 , supercharger kits are around about £1k

1 of the lads local to me has got a 1.6 turbo'd with a LSD its a pure drifting beast!!

I have a soft spot for these but i preffer your golf ;) SORRY :p

The golf is long gone I'm afraid! Gimme some time I'll see what I can make of this :p

Don't get me wrong, the golf was quick and was awesome in a straight line, but this is just on another level in terms of fun
