Up for auction is my BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox (CDA), previously fitted to my Volkswagen Polo 1400cc 16v. It had only covered around 5000 miles before I removed it when I sold the car. It is in great condition, with only a few minor abrasions to the underneath of the outer casing. The filter is fully washable, and BMC recommend washing the filter element and re-oiling it every 15,000 miles.

Please note, this is the 130mm external diameter version, suitable for engines up to 1600cc. Included with the filter is the original mounting bracket to secure it to your engine bay (additional brackets may need to be purchased depending on mount location), a reducing adaptor that reduces the engine side connection outer diameter from 68mm to 62mm, as well as a cold air feed mount that will accept cold air feeds with an internal diameter of 74mm.

These induction kits are very high quality, and provide a good performance boost and fantastic induction roar compared to many in the market. Plenty of reviews are available online. brand new they cost around £180.

All that is needed to fit this to your car would be a suitable size silicone hosing to attach the engine end of the filter to your throttle body, and a cold air feed if the original hose system is not sufficient.
