I took my shed of a GT last time. That has since died so the Citroen Xsara will be the global car.

Once you get off the dirt track onto the field for parking iirc there is a ditch in the field but its save around it.

There are plenty of expensive cars for people to mess with so the Polo will be fine.

It's not really the sort of event where cars get targeted?

Unless it genuinely looks abandoned, maybe then it'd get used for people to join forces on..

But park 'normally' and i really can't see anyone messing with it no matter what it is.

i took it greenman last year and was fine but its a different style of festival. Might be going down on my mates zxr anyway now :)

TBH vw shows are more likely to have a issue with thieving, no one at global is looking for BBS caps. Parking is well away from camping areas.

safe leaving 6x9's in???

Your mate's got 6x9's on his bike..?

yeah badman bike innit

With guns on it, and puncture proof tyres..

if i drive. was gonna take them out.

sketchy much

No, It'll be fine.

It's not the parking you want to worry about, last time I went I saw two separate stabbings and watched some one rob my mates tent but was too fucked to know what the fuck was going on... Think I may of got an innocent bloke a massive kicking by a group of vigilanties because of that too

Still got some very fine memories of my years doing global, if I thought I could still handle my class A's like I could back then I'd still be doing it fo sho 8-)

Global is nothin like it was.

Creamfields is the new global

How is it these days? I ain't been for a good 6 or 7 years now. It used to be properly laid back atmosphere but it got a bit moody once they introduced the D&B tent

I took my G to global last year and had no issues. Dirt track getting out can be a bit bumpy though haha. Didn't see any trouble last year which surprised me, everyone seemed pretty chilled out.

all the festivals i go to people usually end up dying from taking too many drugs. eastern haze in 2007 i think about 3 or 4 people died :s was one fucking epic festival though, so much jungle and psytrance :paranoid:

took my olde mk2 goof to frogstock in 2009

lowered about 80mm on 195/45/14's

Had some trouble getting into camping area as it involved getting up a grass verge and into a field. Had 6 marshalls and my mate pushing me whilst i was basically spinning the wheels up  got in though, and once in the field the golf might as well have been a syncro as it didnt struggle at all 8-)

So Excitied now. Apparently the Saturday kicks off, gonna be staying away from

The dnb tent.

House ftw

A lad at work is going soley for the DnB, we've spent the week winding him up telling him he's gonna get gang raped in the middle of the DnB tent by a load of horny brothers
