Each set up is different.. The sill doesn't look that low but what do i know i own a 6n

What i do know though is that Haps' had the same tire size up front and it tucked rim

His is on hydro's so when layed out it forces the wheels in and up....

If you're happy that's all that matters.. either way looks good

^This. Haps' will always look lower than all of ours on bags because it'll pull the wheel up as there is room left on the strut.

It's just a shame that even layed out, the sills are still miles from the floor!

You changing the colour of it doug? or did i missread above?!

i know.. you understand will... as thats mine laying frame.. so it wont go any lower lol! phsically! haha..

plus... the fact it sits on the lips of the RM... i think that looks like perfect... as just looks right !

but thats my opinion!

and yeah will, wheel colour change.. il text you and show you :D

Yeah man, fully understand, 6n2 sills are the bane of my existence.

Ha yeah thats cool!

Stop slating, its low, its insane, its gonna be even more when hes done with it :)

Lowish :p

just droped a few bits of to be chrome plated... engine bay bits... door locks ect... all the little things eh!

pick the wheels up on sat. as well as more engine stuff thats been painted.

roof lining, a b c pillars, sunvisors, grab handles mirror.. are all of for flocking this week as well, as i wanted them black.. with a OEM look.

pics to follow in the upcoming weeks

hydro doesn't force the wheel up though, it just takes the wait off of the tyre as obviously the weights on the frame, if it did suck the wheel up, it would be tucking much more rim

wow that looks lovely

love how all these threads end up with people bitching or arguing lol

well all in all it does that to the same effect.

hydros do pull the wheels up more... meaning if you have hydros you appear lower.

no they don't lool, theres no way of hydro pullin, the pump can only push the fluid around not draw it back, hence why when on full drop with the pressure being released from the pump, the struts go down with the weight of the car only and the fluid pushes itself back into the pump reservoir, there is nothing to pull it back.. so as I said it takes the weight off the tyre but that's it, but even with air if the car is layed out then the the weight will come off the tyres and you could gain all of what, 3-5mm max arch to lip..

this is haps car on 165 50's, just tucking rim..

this is it with 165 45's...

image_zpsb81bad9b.jpg

clearly see its tucking a lot more rim on 45's, when in theory it should tuck rim much more on the 50's. that's the strut maxed out, so like I said, it doesn't suck the wheel up, it just takes the weight off of the tyre lol

haha yeah I see, you have to remember, we ran silly low static so our subframes are fuckered, and that defo gives you extra drop! mine tuck rims quite a bit and I'm only on 45's, would tuck even more on 50's!

image_zps6fff36da.jpg

but look at the state of my frame
