2 years ago when we got the car me and some m8s thought it would look good to put some brows on the headlights and we used some black tape (stupid idea i know)

will i have to rip it before it goes in for an MOT and will the plod pull me over for it?

plenty of people have bad boy bonnets, was the in thing a few years ago, even i had one on my first car and it passed mot and never got problems from plod because the main beam wasn't covered and my bonnet covered more of the light than those bits of tape do

Tape shouldn't be a problem as the dipped beam part is towards the middle and the main beam actually comes out I the lower part more then the top so you shouldn't have any problems. Although bare in mind that some testers won't like it solve prepared to take them off.

Also, off topic slightly but the front indicators may throw up some problems, as I think they should be a bit more towards the sides of the car. But I can say for sure as I don't have the rule book in front of me and I don't know the dimensions of the car.
