hey all, need some advise if anyone can help me

got a polo tdi 1.9 on a 2003

when on tick over every now and again you can feel the engine shake

but when it starts to shake if the clutch is pressed it stops what does this mean

I've been told it probably has a duel mass flywheel, and it will be on its way out, how true is this
