Bristolbaron's Polo Saloon - 1.6 100BHP Facelift model

I bought this car just before christmas with the intention of running it as a daily until my wife finally learnt to drive. She's still not got round to it.

It's a 1.6 100bhp Saloon

W plate - 2000

Facelift interior & engine

Mileage is now 68.5k

The car has been amazing, good condition inside and out and the engine is lovely. Decent performance and good fuel economy.

I bought coilovers months ago as my only complaint is the ride is a bit wallowy. However, I've been reluctant to start modifying it as it's nice to run a standard daily.

At the weekend I decided to sort out a few scratches on the paintwork. This turned into fully detailing the exterior and after 5 days it's now gleaming inside and out.

So now I'm left in limbo - keep the car standard, slam it and change the wheels or sell it and buy an estate. Since i've owned it, most of it's life has been spend with the rear seats folded down so I can sort house stuff and my project car. I'm thinking an estate is a good idea, but I just don't think I'll find one this tidy and reliable!

Here's some pics.. until I do anything with it, it'll just look like a shiny standard Polo so sorry it's not exciting, but who knows, in a few months this could be page one of an epic build thread
