I cannot stand how people make a massive fuss over certain cars or builds, saying how amazing they are because of some shit quality pictures.

People rave about stuff which is literally shit in then flesh and generally poor workmanship and standards, yet to the untrained eye it's amazing,

I turn up at some shows with high hopes and often find myself disappointed at the simplest of things.

People crowding round show cars with odd bolts and stuff, or shoddy welding, bolts not cut to length etc, wiring bodged and such, winds me right up. Yet some people aspire to that shit.

Mine's a good example. Well constructed gallery thread and careful selection of photos in forums, all working to hide the fact that it's a complete shed, it's absolutely hanging.

Not a straight panel on it, more rust and oil than the average mile of railway, nothing fits and every square inch is terribly finished whether it's got any paint on it or not.

That's why I never bring it to events - trying to keep the dream alive..
