hey guys I've been building this polo for just over 14 months. heres a piccy:

So far i have done the following:

Lowered 80/60mm on TA technix shocks and springs

new top mounts

BBS RA's in 13"

Golf CL splitter

tinted yellow lights

Savage pikey tech exhaust with custom hangers.

Inside i have fitted a 900 watts sub, 400 watt mono amp, 6x9 JBL (300w/100w rms) on a kenwood cd player.

The interior has had wolfsburg accents (winders, door pins), a mono steering wheel with a iron cross horn button.

I have also fitted a Kreigsmarine Nazi dagger pommel on my parcel shelf ( dont worry the prussian eagle is clutching a anchor instead of a swastika).

I also fitted a rear strut brace.

The engine bay has a cold air feed, K&N round filter in the original housing and a ridiculously ported and slightly polished inlet manifold that has been de-heater matrixed, along with a few other breathing mods.

I also have but not fitted:

- a GT cam

- 4-2-1 manifold

- mirror polished 6n rocker cover

I am undecided whether to get a gt engine or just stick twin 40's or bike carbs to my 2G engine.

GT head being ported and rebuilt whilst the old girl is SORN in the garage for the winter. driving my 1.6 vvti corolla now :/ i miss my po-low

Gt engine on bike carbzz :) 4-2-1 stainless manifold too. Got some g lader arb blocks and power flex TCA bushes. Soo much more but can't remember. Oh btw can I use my mk2 loom for carbs? Got full GT Digifant setup for sale if I don't need the GT loom. Pm for offers. Oh got a mk1 golf gti gearknob and rocco gt2 seats :) along with the red pins tripped coupe s clock surrounds. Soo stoked on it all now.

gt powerhouse and carbs are in. got a 2.5" huge SS exhaust ! a bit big but wheeyyyy. got the rarer 13x6j bbs ra's on now powdercoated white. Taken off all the stickers and rattle canned the wing lolollloolollll lol just lol it looks crap but meh

Update.

Just need to wire in the facet pump and FPR as the bike pump melted and fit the new GT rear beam along with braided rear hoses. I am planning to rebuild the rear drums and pads along with new cylinders soon after I test the brakes to see how effective they are. I'm loving my bready atm and may take it to a few shows soon :)

Insurance by elephant is a bitch. I'm going old school styleee with a double barreled Weber dmtl carb seeing as its the recommended replacement part for the pierburg due to the age of the car so insurance isnt much of an issue.

The engine plan now as follows:

- 3F engine ( gt cam, pistons and double valve springs)

- Weber DMTL 32/34 CARB

- Pancake K&N

- cold air feed ram pipe

- S/S 4-2-1 Manifold

- SS backbox with internal baffle

- Ported and polished cylinder head DIY JOB

- Ported and Polished 2G manifold again a DIY job

- Oil catch Tank

Is this old school tuning enough for the car to see a optimistic 85-90 hp seems as a 3F engine has 78hp without a CAT? I'm annoyed at Elephant for this... my bike carbs are for sale for £150 plus postage including clips, rubbers and four air filters with a steel manifold. Just had them idling sweet as a nut on 140 mains

Head and manifold done out of bordom btw it took me a week to do the head. Inlets are not much bigger than std 1.3 ports but lumps and castings removed with a slight sanded texture inside to avoid fuel pooling in the inlets :) All gasket matched along with the manifold like I had running previously :)
