My Polo GTI 6r

Featured Replies

Got my hands on the GTI after driving the worst and slowest Lupo around since I passed my test (year and a half ago). Heard of some problem, experienced the dreaded oil consumption problem myself, but no biggie, dealers are on it.

Insurance is great to, and with me being 18, to pay £1.3K on it for the year is quality (cheaper than my old lupo?! :? :-D )

Current mods:

Whiteline Rear ARB

Pressed Plates

In time I'll hopefully be putting it on a decent set of springs (20mm/30mm drop), ITG Intake, Miltek cat-back exhaust, Revo stage 1 remap (reason for not bothering with a Turbo-back), RNS satnav. Maybe more would love to get my hands on some of the BI-Xenons but stupidly expensive and mega rare to pick up.

That's all peeps :-D

Had a mare and forgot to upload it, haha. Will get some better pics when I've got time and when it's a rare nice day!

Sound like youve got nice plans for it :)

Yep :-D will keep you all updated as things unfold, bring on 200+bhp :D

Hi there mate, after doing my research etc, you have exactly what I plan on doing. Down to same colour of the car and the intake, catback and the revo map, however 3 or 5 door I'm not fussed. I'm moving out to NZ in 3 weeks for a few months. Please keep this updated and tell us how it does with performance. Ps I'm 19 with 2 years no claim and I'm 860 a year (can't use pound sign as on windows 8 with american keyboard layout). Looks great bud, have fun.

It's already great fun already, and buts the majority of cars on the road to shame, but there's always room for improvement. I'd deffinatly recommend a brake upgrade, because as standard they don't pull the car up as well from high speeds as you'd like them too, but not unsafe!

I'll keep you updated, hopefully picking up some LED number plate light inserts tomorrow, just taking it one step at a time :)

Picking up the LED number plate light units on tuesday, and hopefully get some spring sorted this month, got some in the garage 35mm/55mm drop, but wont get car on to the drive with them unfortunately :-( so if anyone wants to buy them please do!

Got some of the flappy paddle stick on's. Decent little things and smart. Fitted the LED number plate light units the other day, just need to get a decent photo of them, but look a lot better than the standard ones.

Not been on here for a while so thought I'd give a lil update! Not much to report, got some H&R springs in the garage awaiting to be fitted once this snow is cleared (20mm/30mm). Going to get myself a front splitter as well, quite like the loom of the reiger ones. Would love to get my hands on some of the 17" Monza shadows but they are impossible to get hold of so may get my original plane boring monza's cut. That will be about it until the summer when I will look at the milteks and possibly an itg intake but unsure because of the constant deafening noise they put out!

That's all bye bye
