Have fun on the rears aha! The only way I know is putting washers behind the rear drum bottom bolts to poke it out, as 9ns have a gay fixed rear beam.. "Bit dodgy tho Gezza"

Fronts are easy..

Just get slightly wider adaptors like sicx, and run some nice rake ;)

Get the arches flaired and remove the wheel arch liners you shouldn't have a problem, but you probably will have to do it quite alot so the paint might crack but that's alright ;) then deck it

Looks alot better now bud!! Get it lower ;)

This is looking good, what plans do you have next?

Dude try photobucket for uploading photos, Then you can spam us ;)

if you've got a iPhone or a smart phone ull be able to upload them off it two :) all you need is the app :)

Gayboy ;) colour code the bottom valances and door handles ;) other than that lower it aha, looking nice dude, defo needs some rake tho ;)

Good man! This is gonna make it ubba clean :) you could even get a cupra splitter and colour code it aha. But mate rake is like the best of stances, were the front end Is lower than the back end, in crazy situations it leads to oversteer but you don't need to worry about that ah.

Reverse rake is we're the backs lower than the front, like a squatting stance =gay, mine was like it without the platforms in but now is level as I've been messing about ;)..

Rake poke rears and tuck fronts is perfect! If I get 17's going to be like that..

Kinda deleted all the posts from me in this thread in a moment of annoyance looking at all the poop i bought for this car and wasted my money on. heres a recent picture of how the car sits, not too much more to do to it till I'm happy.

So far to date I've done:

- Ta technix coilovers

- Porsche twist wheels (sprayed in anthracite)

- 9n3 rears

- Pressed plates

- Colour coded valances and bumper strips + side strips and wingmirror covers

- False floor boot build with 12" kenwood subwoofer

- The car had a load of scratches on one side on the drivers door and a few dents on that side, these have all been rectified by my local body shop who did a great job.

To Do:

-Looking into getting some more paintwork sorted and maybe some smoothing if the price is right.

- 9n3 gti skirts colour coded possibly

-refurb of the wheels

What tyres and adapters are u running on?

  • Author

Hi, I was running 205 40 17 on the rears (8.5j) with a 15mm adapter ( 20mm would have been better)and 195 40 17 on the fronts (7j) ( with a 20mm adapter, occasionally ran 30mm adapter)
