hi all,

i only bought this around a month ago but have realised that old cars are not really for me.

it has had a full engine rebuild with receipts to prove, around 2000 miles ago.

It was resprayed from nevada blue to VW jazz blue by the previous owners friend. it is not the best of jobs but is still presentable.

MOT until august 31st 2013 but tax until 31st october

Good points:

Lowered 40mm (i think, maybe more), providing fantastic handling

G40 exhaust manifold

G40 driveshafts

VW2 Brakes

New rear drum shoes

BBS RA's with loads of tread left

Facet fuel pump

Straight through exhaust with powerflow back box (2" bore all through)

Rot free in the common places (battery tray, gutters and underneath rear window)

front arches are in fanstastic rot free condition

a few original pains of glass (makes it that much cooler!)

Bad points:

Top mounts could do with being replaced

exhaust is blowing a little bit

rear arches could benefit from a bit of tidying

missing window seals

missing boot strut

wasnt built with rear seat belts as they were an optional extra

bolster has worn down in the seats.

There is a lot of bad points, but i am still collecting bits and sorting stuff out on it. none of the bad points affect how cool the car is, or the way it drives.

it gives a shock to chavs that pull up next to you at some traffic lights!

as for a price, i'm looking for around £1000 (which is what i paid for it) or swaps for something cheap to insure.

I have more detailed pictures that i have ready to email over, as this is the only one i can upload.
