I actually couldn't give a shit about the off topic bollocks, thats what friends are for. But for car/polo chat, this is the place to get my fix. I only just joined the club as a paying member, and I can't think why I didn't earlier, except for being too lazy. IMO its the best organised forum I use, with minimal adverts and clear lay out. If you want off topic, go elsewhere or pay the fiver. Not going to break the bank, but may mean you have to save a little longer for your 'low and slow' sticker scene bois

i said it as my opion which if I'm right I'm entitled to so there was no need to jump down my throat i do admit that the forum is run extremely well and the admin and mods do an excellent job but i dont see why just because i disagreed with something that immediately make me a scene queen

I agree with yeti, personally if I ran the club I would demand £5 to view technical and for sale threads, the amount of money that's saved by other people sharing knowledge is unreal.

Why has doms old build thread been closed?? Is this the case with all build threads when the car is sold? What if we want to ask about something on there?

My view now. I hate going into build threads hoping for an update and there just been banter.

One build thread in my head right now for example is like 20 pages long, 1 page of pictures, 2 of updates I'm going to do and the rest been bullshit quotes after quotes of banter.

When I was repainting my car and updating every weekend for example with loads of pictures and info, my build thread went up 6 pages. In the same time another thread went up 10 pages with no such sort of anything of value other than "lowered my car another 37829373892mm and put -819472degrees of camber". Not saying I'm bothered, but it's the principle behind it.

I have my opinions on who are the worst culprits of this and Harris knows my feelings after having a drunken rant with him about it at a show hahaha.

Looking at how much chaos this has caused hopefully it will have done what it was meant to - and in future people will think about what they are writing in the build threads before they post it, i aint no angel - but i did realise this months age and stopped writing anything like it. what prankster put was quite true i did write something derogatory on his thread - but it was no more then 3 posts and it was months ago and to be fair he took some shit as he implied he drove illegally, having preached at others before,

So not only are those who are replying in build threads the ones at fault here but also those who's threads they are! so maybe that needs to be looked at also.
