He will have to find a new forum. I have talked to Rich on the mk2 Golf owners club in the last couple of days, he feels its about time a topic was created on here asking where he is.

Such as...

tbh, the whole walshc thing at the end was entirely a certain mod at fault. You say they are keyboard warriors, when some of the time certain mods can be just as bad themselves.

I saw exactly what happened, i saw a certain mod deleting certain things and editing certain things to suit himself and make craig look like he was the dick. IMO that mod should have been banned, or at-least stripped of mod privileges.

that was ages ago anyway, said mod is hardly ever on here anymore.

Don't really care about ben or rich being deleted

Its not the stuff that comes out of his mouth that worries me, its the stuff that goes into it....

100% agree, I saw what went on too and it was disgusting, but being a mod he did exactly what he liked and nothing was said, he also used that situation that he created to lock this section, a section he had openly admitted he didn't like being here and wanted deleted many times before that.

The lad is a bellend pure and simple and that opinion was built up long before he became a mod before anyone accuses me of mod bashing.

I have noticed mods editing posts without anything to say they have done...as someone will prove them wrong an their original reply changes before too many people notice haha

We also change other peoples comments, especially when they wr8 lik dis.

But i do always make sure to fill the reason for edit box.

Other times i know I've written a load of drivel at 3am and need to change it into something that makes sense the next morning.

I edit my own when I get something wrong or phrase it badly (I've got a shit memory which is made worse by the medication I'm on for life).

If I edit someone else's post, I give a reason in the "Edited by" box.

I edit my posts everyday, and when do you ever see my posts with an edit report at the bottom?

How else would I never make a mistake..? Yet only mods ever know.

No mod tools, never have had, anyone can do it.

I don't think the issue is anyone editing their own posts, I think that's an essential tool, but when other people's posts have been touched then there should be evidence of it. The details can remain hidden, just ensure we can see that a change of some sort has been made.

Please. :)

To be fair, not telling someone why you've moderated their posts is one of my pet hates, if for no other reason than they might not realise they're doing something wrong.

I'll admit, there's been times when I haven't, normally when someone knows they're taking the piss, or if I've got my hands full with something else (my failure). However, some staff don't do it at all, which is why the ones that do get the fallout for everything.

I have recently seen threads, where a mod has said something, then other people have said stuff, mod doesn't like looking wrong and suddenly their original post has changed without a trace, where most wouldn't notice unless they read it right away

Yeah, you said.

And like mikey said. Anyone can do it.

Just did cause I can. Thought of another point to make so put it all in one post. Rather the opposite of making a point, having it discussed, then making exactly the same point again a few days later in the same thread.

Seemed misinterpreted that's all :)

i could post on the whole craig thing but seeing as he is no longer arsed about this site i dont see the point we all know which mod was at fault with that situation so lets leave that one ben however did pretty much ask to be deleted and has asked for it before the guys been on here at least five times i know of and each time it results in the same thing shame as in person he is a real nice guy never do enough for you just dont give him a keyboard

Summed it up nicely there matty, think we can close on that! Last word anyone?

Buttscratcher.
