done some more work on the polo this weekend got the alternator all fixed in with correct belt and tensioned accordingly can turn the belt on a 90 by hand so presuming its not too tight come into a prblem with my starter motor tho......cant find the switch wire off the mk2 loom to go in back of it anyone know wich wire it is ???? also tried bridging it the motor turned but didnt engage with flywheel ant turn crank......i have also obtained a 5speed 8p box aswel so can fit that on once i get some oil in it.....making slow progress unfortunately..... thinking of getting an auto electrician in aswel cause I'm doing mega poo with the wiring
