Got the wheels back!

Think they're looking decent, just waiting for my rubber to be delivered and I'll get them on the car. Should be tomorrow hopefully.

black would be nice but tbh mate, might be nice to run them as they are, real OEM looking, good choice!

They look sweet mate, you running a bit of stretch on the tyres? can't wait to see these on it, should look good down 50mm as well

Doubt there will be much stretch on the tyres mate, 185/60/14 Yokohama's.

Didn't want to go with too low of a profile because the way the car is sitting now is decent.

Hope they look as good as I hope they're going to, going to buy some spacers once I get paid. May have to roll my arches though.

Should've went with some 45's 8-)

Wheels are on!

I think it sits nice, would be better a little lower but I can't afford coilies right now :(

lovely mate! They bring it right up to date, looks like a new car!

Cheers mate, I'm happy with the result. Definitely recommend Romax where I took the wheels to get refurbished to anyone.

Well, it's been a while since I've posted on the forum! Lurked a little though.

Nothing else has happened with the motor, although she has passed an MOT this week!

Not sure what my plans are, as in July I'm toying with the idea of getting a 6R R-Line w/ staff discount and a years free insurance. But then I couldn't mod it as it would be on finance :'( Although with my discount I should be able to afford a few toys on it, and I'd do some detailing.

That's providing I can afford it. But between now and then I think I'll whack a front splitter on the 9N once the weather clears up then tidy up the bits and bobs I want to tidy up. Could do with a decent head unit and speakers.

Actually, I'm looking for suggestions as to what to do. Think I'll get the bugger stanced as it needs it with these wheels, possibly get my arches rolled and coilies put on too to make it sit nicer.

Let me know what you lot think!

looks epic mate!

How did you find the ride of the lowering springs? Any good? As thinking of some 17" audi wheels so don't think I'd have to go too low with coilovers

It's alright but I'd suggest coilovers, most people advised me to use the springs as a short-term thing especially with standard shocks and I can see why.

You'll have to get your arches rolled for those TT Comps by the way, just mentioning in case. Think I'm going to get some spacers on mine and get it sitting down about 80mm on coils when I can afford them.

Ah I see mate! Oh I didn't know that! Thanks for the advise :)

Looks tidy mate, I would space the wheels out abit to fill the arches. Id also satin black the front badge.

Just bought some flouro orange Plastidip for the badges, can't remember seeing a 9N on smaller wheels spaced out so I hope the stance works with them

Plans for the year:

Saving £££ for my car and holiday, I'm planning on getting some detailing/bodywork done. First up going to get the badges done this weekend hopefully, give the car a deep clean and see what I can do and what I need to get done somewhere else. First big spend on the car will have to be the little bits of bodywork (Which I keep mentioning...) as they're doing my nut in.

After, Leon spliter and might give colour coding the strips a go,25mm spacers on the back and 15mm spacers on the front. Camber shims too. Fingers crossed I can get this stanced on 14"s :retard:

I'll no doubt find other things I want to do, since the car is already 50mm lower all round I'll save coils for now but they will be purchased!

All of this before ED38 in August hopefully, I'll look to attend some other shows before too.

We need a 9N crew at ED38 though.

them alloys look smart

14's on a 9n? tbh I think Audi pepperpots look lost on them and they're 15 :/ will be interesting to see if you can pull it off

Possibly not, but if it doesn't work I can always buy a set of 16s or 17s and use the spacers etc. with them and keep the 14s for winter.

Gash picture quality, didn't want to go down the black badge route so this is what I've done. I think it looks decent, rear badge looks well good but I've still got to put that on. I've colour coded the backing of the badges diamond black with the car too.

Think I might get a set of Angel Eyes next month, I know not everyone likes them but yeah...

Needs lowering :p

Looks nice! I really like the black 9n's. Anyhow you thought any more about doing your headlining?

Nah, I'm actually not doing much more with the car, bits of cleaning up and detailing as there may be a change in the near future which means I need a car for longer daily journeys. So I'd like a Golf or something similar if that is to happen.

But, for now I'm just cleaning some shiz up on the car, going to refurb my steels then focus on paintwork etc.
