not selling wheels and reason for sale is one door has no paint and one has to many marks

Good move, those issues wont be hard to rectify

Bought some G3 professional paint renovator for my poor lacquer, so gently sand down the lacquer peel and just try and blend and it works Next week the coilovers will be here and will be fitted on thursday, saving up for a new door is also under way Hope you all have a nice christmas and a happy new year.

So today me and my mate have done half a job lmao. The coilovers have been a nightmare but its all coming together, we have had a lot of trouble getting the front suspension actually off, so we going to grind it off on sunday :) The car on the back however is at 120mm which is low i know

One point this happened and the front of the car hit the floor but it was saved by the wheels underneath

the top mounts are not moving so we cutting it from underneath and should slide off and then coilovers inn whoop unless u have any advice :)

hmm cant u just borrow someones impact gun ? itll be alot safer tbh

If you grind it off the spring will even jacked up have compression, if its hits you your gunna have a bad time. Also it could damage your car if it goes off

I hope it will work because we're compressing the spring and ordered some new top mounts and bolts for 8 pound The joys of discount haha. Also I can't get anyone to help me with an impact gun :(

have you tried a set of impact sockets and a breaker bar?

thats what i resorted to when lowering my 6n :)

Looks great so far but i would have a different approach to it, first off if i was working on a car i would make sure it was safe and would never do what is has done above! What happened if those wheels were a couple of inches back and you or your mate was underneath the car?

Grinding is also a overkill and will cause much more problems than its worth, just spray wd40 on all the bolts, get a good impact socket, a decent breaker bar and put all your weight behiend it, or worst comes to the worst borrow an air gun. But whatever you do before you do above make sure the car is safe.

or trusty WD40? grinding the suspension off isnt really the best of ideas tbh...

under the car the bolts are fine there already off now. The bolt on the top mount isn't moving at all ??? it keeps turning the shaft when we try undoing it???

We will have the front lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww on saturday pal another mod to tick of your list, the suggestion of breaker bar and impact socket didnt work either we tried this and locking the shaft with molegrips didnt work.

Best thing is to get another set of top mounts for £8 and keep the fronts in full so if you sell the car coilovers can come off complete and old shocks can go back on :)

Impact gun you need to get the top mounts off mate, take the complete shocker to your local garage and they'll probably buzz it off for free.
