I'm sorry to sound very cynical, but I highly doubt male insurance policies will come down in price.

Whats more likely to happen is mens policies will remain the same and womens will be inflated to match or meet the middle ground between what they were paying and what male drivers policies currently are.

It's only what I heard on radio, try find more information about it

Karl is correct, thats why the bitches are crying. Equal rights didn't benefit them this time

four months ago i started a policy with right choice insurance brokers and they have bin nothin but trouble. i got a quote of £1000 and when i called them to start the policy the put it up to £1500 and since then they have done nothin but mess us about. now because i am moving house and they want another £400 and i have been arguin it they are on about cancelling are policy all because we are movin house i have since research them and foind nothin but bad reviews so consider this a warnin stay away from right choice

It's probably due to the new address being a higher risk area

I used my 10 months years NCB with another company.

Your renewal says 1 year NCB..what more evidence does your new insurer need

Saw a post by sky insurance saying that you have to tell your new insurer's if its a 10 month policy as some will not accept it. Guess its no different to not declaring anything else, get caught out and you could end up with no insurance when you most need it.

It may say its 1 years NCB, but its not, unless the earth has moved a little closer to the sun since the last time I checked?

still costs me £850 to insure myself on a 1.1 saxo.

no worries its only £350 on a 2.3T Saab Aero.........

no brainer really.

My other half will be learning to drive soon, her insurance will be ridiculous as shes classed as High risk due to her epilepsy (year and a bit since her last).

epilepsy after a year should have no impact on insurance... my dad is epileptic and has been told if a doctor says you are perfectly fine to drive then they can't weight it artificially - its discrimination - i.e. no evidence to show a higher risk. So his premiums are unaffected.

This legislation that has come into force about boys falling and girls rising is great news for us young lads!

I currently pay £621 for my insurance which is for me on my provisional lisence learning to drive!!

When I pass my test the insurnace was going to be £1821, but I did a quote last night and since this legislation came into effect, it is now oging to be £832.

I think that is brilliant!! Saving me over £970..... And that will be my first year driving after I pass!!! And, I am 17 :)
