according to longlife it'll be fine in the rain ... it is a worry though

as its been a few days, i have relised that it does collect water a bit and boggs down when you first start it but a bit of a throttle spits all the water out :)

I've got some new goodies on the way :) 1.3 throttle body , 1.3 inlet manifold and ecu and a golf elbow

theres gonna be no exciting updates for a while as I'm out of a job next week :(

Finally got the 60mm springs on today! only just finished ill get pics up tomorrow as its too dark atm

needs dropping on the front a bit more though

60mm springs probably wont lower it 60mm from experience.. did you just get springs or shocks too?

probably need to chop a few coils out to get the look you want!

i only had springs :) this is only temp until i get my rear coilovers and front 80mm shocks and springs anyways

i dont really wanna risk chopping tbh as the springs can move in the strut when jacked up already :(

managed to clear my attachments on here so i could use the uploader :) ( work has blocked all the image uploader sites :( ) The rear arches had to be rolled before i could go anywhere last night

a few more pics this weekend shes gonna have a good clean and I'm also gonna take both the bumpers off and treat the rust behind

i finally got round to sanding the new inlet down and primering it :)

got the golf elbow ready to put on :)

I then took the front bumper off...

quick clean

then fitted the new splitter

thats all for today

since it was a nice day i chose to give her a wash :p

not really done much today :( i managed to finally get the golf elbow sorted and attached to the new throttle body :) i had to use threaded bar as bolts

all the 1.3 goodies will go on tomorrow :)

not a great quality picture i know but i got the golf elbow, 1.3 throttle body , ecu and inlet on today :)

The idle is really crap atm though but apart from that its brilliant!

its got a 1.3 throttle body and inlet so I had to put the ecu on to even it all out :)

No no you don't understand, the engine capacity is 1043, you have it set up so that it is being fueled for a 1272... The bigger inlet manifold will aid flow, but it won't let you cram 1272cc of air into the cylinders. Therefore it should still be fueled for a 1043.

I got told to do it that's all the injector is attached to the throttle body so the 1.3 one I guess? I ran it with the 1 litre ecu in and then with the 1.3 ecu after and there was no difference at all in how it drove infact it feels slightly better with the 1.3 ecu :)
