NEEEDS MORE LOW!

  • Author

Yeah definitely, should be getting some springs and shocks next month!

Cant decide whether to go 40 or 60 on the front though!!

the front on mine ideally would go down another 20mm, which would be an 80-60 drop, but 2 things stopping me, everything hangs low on it, and already cant get it in my garage without bashing everything

Yeah i think i will go with 40 on the front for now, and see what it looks like, as i do have plastic arches on the front aswell.

Will update when i get some lowering springs, hopefully be start of next month!

Small update, bought some clear indicators and side repeaters and fitted these, think it just makes it look a bit cleaner.

While i'm here thought i would post the first pics of the engine bay, even gave it a clean.

So its been a long time since i updated this thread!

I will apologize now for the picture heavy post!

So anyway, from where this thread ended i passed my test and the bready got lowered and on the road!

However this was short lived as when it was on the road it had lots of fuelling issues then he alternator went and many more underlying problems.

So in May 3 months after she came on the road i got myself a new car, picked it up cheap and it quite took my fancy.

Ignore the mark in this picture it is my rubbish phone not on the car!

But of course i couldnt just sell the mk2, so i garaged it for a month or so then decided what i wanted to do with it.

Il be going down the AFH conversion route on bike carbs, and have the majority of parts to do this.

Also the bodywork and interior will be getting some attention to, from here onwards il let the pictures do the talking.

So i started stripping it down and getting rid of all the nasty plastic, bump strips, plastic arches etc
