Not a lot has happened with the bready however it has got a new home in a garage 2 seconds from my house rather than miles away so hopefully it will get a lot more done it now.

Since its been there, the sunroof seal along with sunroof has been fitted back in.

I have fitted a GED brace bar to stiffen up the front a little.

ARB blocks have been purchased and waiting to go on, had a go at this last week and the bloody old bolt snapped so got to get that out now.

Have also sent my engine mount to Pete (StinkyPete) to have the engine plate done so it bolts up to the third hole in the AFH block.

Heres a few random pictures anyway, can never have too many.

Hopefully will have some more progress in the near future.

None of the plumbing in has been done yet but it's in there!!

So this has been pretty slow going lately, however did have the first sign of any life at the weekend as briefly got it started.

Quite nice to know the engine isn't f**ked as bought it without seeing it run!!

You got that yourself a monster, I see! :D

So got the running engine running ok, ticking over and revving but the excitement was shortlived.

As at the weekend engine needs to come out again as there is something up with the clutch as it is not disengaging. :(

Pretty inspiring thread man! did you rattle can it blue, and did you lacquer it or not?

Yes it was just rattle canned with one thin coat of lacquer as didnt want it proper glossy!

So have done a bit with this now - engine came out to sort the clutch - turned out it was fitted wrong so that is all sorted now!

Car is actually driveable now, however yet again there is more problems.

If you leave the car ticking over for any more than about 5 mins, it boils its water and overheat like mad - however the fan isn't cutting in so looking why at the moment have already tried fan switch, just hoping it is not overheating due to head gasket or water pump failure.

Also got some rev counter clocks fitted now from a cope S, wheels are back on and got some vw2 calipers to fit aswell along with a full stainless powerflow exhaust - coming together slowly.

For now here is a few pics with my mk3 coupe that i have recently sold.

That was a pretty fun car too - 1.3gt on bike carbs with full stainless :)
