Yamaha FZR 400R Exup (1WG) model. It is a fairly clean example of a rare bike, although being 22 years old it is not immaculate. It doesn't stop the bike getting plenty of attention everywhere we go though, those that know what it is certainly approve!

With the law set to change in January to meet new EU regulations on motorcycling, this would make an ideal christmas present for somebody, or if you were interested it could be taken in over the winter and given a bit of time to make it an immaculate example.

Just had the air filters cleaned, plugs checked and oil replaced.

The bike really doesn't need for anything just now, it would very literally be a case of get on it and go. The brakes all have plenty of meat left, it's been very well looked after and just needs somebody to give it a good home.

I bought the bike from a friend of mine because after 18months I was missing riding, however I am starting a new job in the next couple of weeks and shall be travelling over 500 miles per week, which is neither fair nor practical on the bike.

The only thing I would mention is that it could probably benefit from a new horn, however the one that is on it just now does work.
