Tax and test always improve a sale IMO, 6n's ain't worth shit though so id be more inclined to put it back to standard (or as near as possible) get a second hand suspension on it (standard that is) and tax and test it up and sell it

I didn't actually think of that tbf, not a bad option, problem is that I bought it done not built it, built my second car so I would have to go out and buy standard parts like unsmoothed bumpers.etc think that would be worth it?

test at a minimum i'd say before you sell it... then people know its good for the road and they're not going to get a shit load of problems with it.

Yeah I can't see test being a problem as it past last year without a problem and hasn't been driven much since only started and little drives. So believe I will get mot, does anyone know if I can go to a booked mot with only insurance (no tax) ?

Small update, just before Christmas I had to drive 3 and a half hours to Wales so thought it would be best to give my car a service...

Using the discount code for euro car parts I ordered the things I needed payed for next day delivery cause I left it late lol

Opened up it looks like this...

Reason for the next few pictures is I only had a sizzor jack and i didn't realise till after my car was raised that the axle stands wouldn't fit under ( jack didn't raise enough ). So with some brilliant thinking I got some curbes yes curbes!!

But after abit of time I was successful

Oil got changed

Plugs got changed

New oil filter

And drained the radiator and refilled with a good mixture of water and anti freeze

Nice oil

Had right trouble trying to get the jubilee clip off!

A lot has happened to my car recently but haven't had the time to upload pics and descriptions to the site.

so where to start..

i decided i wanted to do a stud conversion on my car so i popped to halfords and got some break cleaner to clean the threads in the hubs before locking the studs in

was actually much easier then i first thought it would be but i always seem to be working on my car in the dark :/

i then decided to buy and collect these..

come without tyres so needed to get some, bought 4 budgets as wheels left me skint!!

(my cat wanted to feature on my club polo thread)

after getting the tyres fitted and fitting the wheels to my car this is how it looked

added some honda civic keys to my toe bar to wind my brother up as he owns a civic

some idiot decided to crash into my car 4 days after wheels were fitted leaving the car with a massive dent in the door and wing!!

i managed to park on a curb which made my car look seriously low so had to snap a pic.

this is where my car was parked when the idiot decided to crash into it, still haven't managed to find out who it was!!

after it happened me and my bro were out looking at every car for red paint left on the bumpers, we managed to find loads on damaged bumpers but none with red paint on :(

Must be 14's they do look small but I think it's the budget balloon tyres that do that. You should have waited and got better ones imo. What size are the tyres?

They are 14s 7.5j rears 7 fronts, I was hunting for tyres, and couldn't find many for 14s that would have a nice looking streatch! I ended up going for 175/55 I tried to use tyre stretch website but didn't help to much, got any profile that are guna stretch better, was thinking 155/55?

155/55 would be a decent stretch. My mate runs 175/50's on his 8J 14's.

Yeah I have some 8j ats classics and they look good on 195/45 but on a 7j it's not guna look the same, guna get some 155/55 next I think, cause it's staggered you reckon I should run them on all 4 or get different ones for the different j's?

doesn't even have spacers mate, they are quite pokie so I see why you thought it, yeah if they were 8j would of gone for one of them, shame really cause I hate the ballons and being 175/55 the wall of the true is massive where as the 185/45 has a smaller wall and more tread

A women reversed into my car Saturday, she had to walk past my car to get to hers yet she still blindly managed to reverse straight into it!! Don't know how she didn't see the great big red box on wheels but she didn't so now my rear quarter and rear wheel is damaged :( she drove off but luckily I watched her do it so got her reg and confronted her about it after she finished work
