PoLOW Estate TDI

Featured Replies

So i sold the golf with it costing me to much to run and christmas and little boys birthday coming up family was more important to me having almost past away last year

sooooo picked this up from rob in swindon and i love it so cheap to run insure and tax and can get teh dog in the boot :)

spec is

2000 Volkswagen Polo Variant Estate SE.

• 1.9 TDi (Non-PD) 90hp

• 85,500miles (will rise slightly)

12 Months MOT

• 6 Months Tax

• PAS

• ABS

• Leccy windows, mirrors and sunroof (all work faultlessy)

• Central locking

• Front fogs

Modifications wise it has:

• Ibiza Cupra Front Lip

• Lamin-X’d headlights and front fogs

• Tinted rear lights

• Pressed plates (Legal)

• Stubby aerial

• Polo 6N2 seats (much nicer than the stock ones)

• 110 Injectors

• PSI Tuning 2-piece shallow sump

• EGR-delete

• Raised front engine mount

• Updated black badges, central boot one is a huge Caddy item – very cool!

• Pioneer CD/USB Head Unit

• Rolled Arches front and back

• Raceland Coileys all-round

• Front aero wipers

And the main party piece… 16x8 Porsche D90’s with 195/40/16 T1R’s all round 30mm FK ally adapters all round and further 15mm FK hub-centric spacers out back. It is VERY rare to find these wheels in 8’s all round, it’s hard enough finding a pair! It really does sit lovely! It’d sit even nicer if it were about 10-15mm lower (which is easily doable on the coileys, all of which move freely) but as it’s supposed to have been my “practical” daily driver I pussied out!

pictures stolen off rob for time being till i get my bum into gear and take some

I really like the polo estates and this is a nice one! interested in info on the "110" injectors as I'm told by the caddy forum that only .205's fit ( dunno what they are from ) and .216's from Euro T4's 150tdi. As I've been looking and apparently the golf tdi 100,130,150 etc do not fit?

Thanks

I will find out for you as previous owner did it

Awesome much appreciated!

The lad who owned it before me put them in. Were just off a 110 version of the same engine. So could have been polo/passat/jetta/golf... He said

Is that the only info? thats a shame I would have presumed they would have been out of a golf 110 tdi pd, by like i'm told on vwcaddy.com they dont fit?...

saw this on instagram a couple of days ago. absolutely loved it. them bbs are gonna look nice :)

like this car very much :)

Mine can be a little bastard, I THINK its about as low (I'm runnng 16" Cades Eros with 195/45/16 tyres) and it scrapes over every single speedbump and bumps in the road so my journey to Cambridge every day is a bit of a cringer. Its managed to cut the insides of two tyres open as well but I don't have spacers on mine yet.

They did do a 110bhp in the Polo and the Mk4 chassis Golf (our '97 A3 Sport has it), so use the injectors from that (.205s I think). Tdi 100/130/150 wont fit becuase they are PD TDI, the Polo 110's are the previous generation VE engine.

It was me who owned this car and did the work on it. I bought it standard as the day it was created. The last guy 'godders' put the porka rims on which look nice. Hope you like how hard i worked on this car. Tinting the lights took me ages but wanted them looking factory. I also worked hard getting those rear badges for a nice different look so hope you like that too :-) I popped the original sump hence the shallow one and puck mount. I looked after it well. I miss this car.

The injectors in this car are all swapped from the AGR code engine (all the vag 110bhp, non PD, tdi engines). I actually think these ones in this car are from an audi a4 iirc. The injectors in this are also very low milage ones and i spent an age cleaning them and fitting them nicely with all the correct VAG sealing washers. Its cheaper and less fiddly to change the whole injectors rather than swap for the larger nozzles. With a remap this car will be between 130-140bhp with loads more torque.

If you go with .216 nozzles it will smoke and need a remap but by this point you maybe needing a new clutch due to the torque increase.

That little dent was caused buy a lazy dustbin man with a wheely bin.

The seats are poverty spec 6n2 seats but have a nice pattern cloth. I swapped the bases with the original seats though so you retain the tilit function ;)

Its ibiza 6k2 stubby mirrors you want. Can get them on german ebay easy enough.

Those wheels will look awesome when fitted. Keep up the good work. It's a good car :-)

Wish i had a pic of this standard as it looked so rubbish lol.

I had a 110bhp version of this in canyon red, the 110bhp were very rare only a handful sold or so I'm told, I looked for ages, came with air con and sunroof which caused me no end of hassle.

Lovely car but box and engine not suited to car.
