Tobacco smokers are hopelessly addicted to a drug. They do it morning noon and night, they do it when at work, when looking after kids.. if they try to abstain they suffer serious behaviour problems, and will choose to support the drug even when all else is suffering around them (particularly finacially). I wouldnt smoke, it stinks, they stink, and it gets into the lungs of others around you even outside.

Its like heroin then, only legal. Alcohol drinkers are a wider spectrum of breed. I do drink alcohol, but only when appropriate. Not during my working week, for a start. Not when i need to drive, or look after kids. Sometimes its over a week between drinks because i can take it or leave it (and the strength is always in single figures). You dont have to be an alcoholic to enjoy alcohol. But smoking, yes you are an addict, you do have a problem, but it messes with your mind, so you will defend it until you're blue in the face.

On another subject then, as you're still reading, Karma. Some believe in it, some don't. Way i see it, if you play with fire, you may not get burned, but all you will see is burning.. Karma isn't about revenge. Its about the bigger picture. If someone is not a nice person, they have to put up with that 24/7, and they will become bitter. You don't have to put up with it, you can enjoy being you. So it doesn't matter if an aeroplane lands on them or not, karma is in it for the long haul and will get them one way or other.

I'd talk about football or telly, but both are cages for the mind which don't reward the spectator, so i have little to say about them. They're not the two words in question, then.
