Only had 50mm PTFE tape which is why theres lines in it :( and I havnt got time to polish some ally for a pressure plate..

Exactly the same shape as the original but this one has been repaired and in the clave too, i will try and make a couple minus the hinge bracket and bring them too the rr not sure how to price them though and if people want them lacquered.

But cam_d has a skinned one for sale at £25 reduced from £50? There's a fair bit of labour that goes into making even small components

Updates on my pointless fuel flap

Trimmed the edges rounded them off like the standard flap gave it a quick coat of laquer (needs another)

Took the bracket off the original and gave it a lik of paint

How it will look once I bond the two together

I may tidy up the back but right now I'm not bothered

Sorry missed that, its got a dent in the front and a couple of scratches in other places, and my paint seems more orange in comparison to the bonnet. but can't complain for the money and he delivered It to me from Luton...

Better than matte black though :)

Well just got it back from the garage again, rear wheel bearings done. Went to all parts bought some brake pads which I'm doing on my day off tomorrow,

Also tomorrow I'm picking up a G40 interior so my boulevard Volkswagen covered seats are for sale if someone wants them ....

Fucking hate cars sometimes. My brakes are basically metal on metal so I decided to change the pads as the disks are okay till all parts have some back in stock.

Drivers side no problems

Passenger side top bridge bolt no problems, bottom bridge bolt, rounded off and bodged tight with some plastic stuff,

Looks like I'm driving to Birmingham like it as I have stuff that needs collecting but I'm slightly annoyed I hate previous retards costing me time and money. Do I get a new bolt from vw I assume?

Thanks :) that was the first attempt so not perfect but pretty close, although carbon is a butch to paint its like a sponge hence the laquer being a bit shite, all in the pipeline
