We havnt got too much left only the fueling and bits if anyone has a divers side driveshaft near me let me know! Asap

left to do

• drivers side drive shaft needed
• inlet mani tapped for brake servo pipe
• carbs rejetted to 140-145ish
• fuel system needs sorting. this is whats got me stumped. how to run facet pump on mk3
• exhaust needs putting on properly
• radiator and coolant hoses need fitting
• gear linkage needs adjusting for 5 speed
• need cam cover gasket (make sure you moan at eurocarparts on here for being SHIT)
• needs timing up and tuning up

sorry man. just wasnt really feeling it today, women troubles ect. just not a good time

Whats the problem with the mk3 and a facet eric?

You stumped with the wiring? You dont actually need one if your running a lift pump

we ripped the whole engine bay out and replaced it with the mk2 stuff. even fusebox. tbh thats what took alot of the time.

yeah just not sure what to do with the injection pumps ect.

plus side is, we did get it to turn over. so we know the loom is in correctly. just minor niggly things now.

iirc don't you keep the lift pump at the tank and ditch the high pressure injector pump?

think so. but how do you get rid of it? just disconnect the fuel lines either side and get a joiner? or just replace the whole section of pipe

On mine i swaped my injector pump for a facet.
