My bike carbs will be running asap and my lamba sens or will be free to hook up to a AFR gauge , are they simple to set up ? What's your opinion on them ? Cheers lads

Had mine plumbed in in less than an hour. That includes getting the car jacked up, sensor in and all the cables routed properly using OEM holes.

Getting the gauge bolted down next to the oil pressure one, cutting and soldering all the leads to the proper length.

They're easy.

Sensor, a ground and a live feed (ign. live) and the cable for the sensor to the gauge. Simples.

I've got the UEGO AEM one, it's pretty lovely.

Either that, or the LC-1 seems popular.

i found the loom connector for the afr, just goes onto here yer ? and earth the brown wire to the car chassis ?

The standard lambda sensor won't work for an AFR gauge.

They're a narrow band. AFR monitors tend to use heated wide band sensors.

A narrow band sensor is pretty pointless for tuning.

If you buy the proper AEM one (or LC-1) you get the sensor.

Old narrowband out, new wideband in.

I will be getting one , and I'm at bogg bros in a week or so rolling road , as you have heard before . Will be set up well
