EPC light on and no brake lights at all...

Got a problem, noticed my drivers side footwell is damp on the mat and a under, and today my EPC light has come on and I have no brake lights whatsoever, any ideas? And how easy is the brake light switch to replace? I'm Guessing its that that's gone, but is it due to dampness? Is it dripping down past it onto the floor?
