1.0L Polo 6n

Been meaning to make an advert for this a while as I need it out the way.

Its a 1.0L flash red 1999 model with 113k on the clock.

It has JOM coilovers on there but they haven't been adjusted in a while and may be stiff, they also have no helper, bumpstops, or spring caps (I can put them back in if required)

Has professional chassis notches on both drivers and passengers sides

Has 6n2 front and rear seats

Rolled and slightly flared arches (rears have paint missing and have slight surface rust)

There is very very little rust on the car and it does polish up well

It has just had a brand new battery put in it

Has a 6n2 GTI splitter cut and fit to the 8v bumper

I also have a flash red 16v front bumper in the shed (okay condition but has slight marks)

Comes on golf driver steels with very good tyres on

It currently has no MOT or Tax however I took it for an MOT the other day and it failed on the following:

- Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limit

- Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive (the tester told me its just where its been sat for a few months and that if I gave the car a good run out it will be fine)

- Drivers side steering rack gaiter is split

- Drivers side drum brake is slightly too tight and needs loosening

- 2 bits of welding on the drivers side sill (this is getting done at the weekend)

- Bolt missing from the rear passenger wheel (I think if a bolt is forced in there it will pass the MOT and the hub can be changed after)

Other bad bits:

The clocks don't work (I have another set of clocks to try but I'm unsure of the mileage on them)

The passenger door handle is painted a slightly different shade of red and the door lock doesnt work with a key (still works fine from the inside and the drivers door handle is black)

The rear lights are odd (one 6n2 and one normal 8v) Due to the binmen driving into the car slowly and cracked the other 6n2 light

The bit below the rear drivers light has been slightly pushed in and therefore doesnt line up correctly with the boot (again due to the binmen)

The heatshield is rattling when you accelerate

Theres a pretty big dent in the passenger sill (see pictures)

The sills are pretty lumpy but the jacking points are still solid and fine although using a trolley jack is advised...

Obviously there are a fair few problems but they aren't difficult to sort out and the car itself starts, drives, and stops perfectly well.

I'm willing to sell the car for £350 ONO without MOT or Tax OR I will continue to slowly fix the bits that are needed for the MOT and once its passed sell it for £600 ONO.
