1996 P reg VW Passat 1.9TDi(1Z)GL Estate.

163k miles. The timing belt was changed just before I bought it in July 2011.

I've had the coolant changed and done oil changes twice a year....the last oil change was done in December.

Electric windows X 4.

Air con(not working due to a burst pipe)

Central locking.

CD stereo.

Rear load cover.

The bodywork is good but there are a few signs of rust bubbling through on the arches and the o/s rear wing has been resprayed at some point and the colour match isn't that great.

The interior is also in good condition apart from slight wear to the drivers seat bolster.

I'm probably going to regret selling it but it's time for a change.

In the last 18 months I've covered over 12,000 miles and it's been totally brilliant....eats up the miles with ease and consistently returns 55+mpg....66mpg on my way to the Lakes.

It's never let me down once, always starts no matter what the weather and it's probably been the most practical and reliable car I've ever owned.

There's a few issues to mention.

The rear brakes need changing.

The ignition is worn so requires a certain way to start it....easy when you know how.

Both front electric window regulators require attention...they still work but not perfect.

The n/s rear electric window doesn't work.

The windscreen is cracked and will require changing for the next MOT.

The ABS light is on at the moment but goes out on it's own accord....a rear sensor is at fault.

8 months MOT

5 months tax.

£600...poss p/x plus cash for a B5 or B5.5 TDi estate.

07539 815164...no texts please.

I've only got 1 photo at the moment but I'll take more if required when the snows cleared.
