I've never voted labour and never will, i was using that as an example to show that scientific research to a large extent cannot be trusted when it's funded by a company or government with an agenda.

You are correct, every time the labour get in power they ruin the economy, impose new laws, and get shafted by the EU.(which we were signed up for while conservatives where in power but once labour got into power the really took the piss.)

Once the conservatives get in power they start fixing the economy and make the uk a better place to do business in doing so more people are making money and therefore tax revenue is increased and they can spend more on public services, just as the country is getting back on it's feet, for some unknown reason labour get back into power and the cycle repeats it's self.

I have no idea whats going on in terms to the climate change. I can't see it changing in our life time, mainly because there is too much money in fuel.

Think how much 5 of us spend on fuel in a year. I myself average 200/300 a month plus another300/400 in the work van.

Technology is already there for electric/hybrid cars and will always be improved, but with this comes the cost of buying a new car, which lets be honest most people wont own a brand new car in there lifetime. Also it would stop there being money in the fuel that everyone wants to own the pumps to.

Another example you could use is stop start technology, it amazed me to find out that the formel e polo basically had this. But I had only heard about this when it became the new craze a few years ago?
