Yeah id be up for one later in the year deffo. Engine hopefully running by poloshow (touch wood) and then just brakes and alignment to do.

Lol, i didnt get bored, just making sure your headlight wouldnt smash everywhere if you span into a barrier again!

My phone managed to die 10 mins after leaving the track, and the ran out fuel driving to the nearest petrol station, lucky it was as i was coasting up to the pump!!!

Oh yeah forgot to mention that,

on the sighting lap - yes that lap where you go really slow to know which way the track goes, jamie and i ended up in a tyre wall

Turned into a 90 degree left going uphill, and half way round the car just quickly looped itself 180, which put us on the grass and slid us into the tyres, we were both amazed i think due to going so slow.

Came in the pits, feeling a massive idiot and expecting the worse, got out and appears the toe eye in the front had taken the brunt of the impact, and just caught the bumper/indicator basically.

Still wondering why the fuck it let go going so slow, max comes wondering over and goes OH MY GOD. your car is pissing fuel out when you turn left..

and sure enough after some testing and messing around, any hard left turns, fuel was going up the filler neck, leaking out the cap, going down the overflow pipe which was basically pointing at the tyre, so as id turned in it chucked fuel all over the tyre sending it round, didnt feel a idiot anymore, spent a while sorting it out and making sure it was prevented again before going on track, went for a drive on road to clean tyres up then went back to it. didnt even end up sideways again let alone in a wall!

so thanks maxmax for being behind me and noticing, cause the marshalls didnt!

Massive thanks to Mark for sorting out another excellent day. Cadwell is an epic track and the section under the trees is brilliant, will defo be going back there again.

I only put 20 litres in max because of this, it is a PITA though- thankfully filler neck isn't on the other side as roundabouts would get interesting!
