It's true. I remember seeing so much more when I was a kid, but now, it's only me and a few mates that have done stuff.

I work one day during the week, and up at 5am on the weekends, and that pays for my fuel into uni, and insurance. That's it.

I have no money whatsoever (89p to last me till Thursday). I'm broke, and it's the governments fault.

I'm having to fix peoples cars/quads on the side to make enough money to fix my own car, it's so shite.

Its not the governments fault you dont earn what you would like, thats all on you. What are you expecting them to pay you for?

Dont blame stuff, try putting that time and energy spent moaning into getting your self a better job/life. In otherwords cheer up!

There are less modified cars on the road around me, they all seem to be second cars that end up at shows and thats it now. Its a shame really, being a first time driver seeing some really nice old skool cars/vws passing on the road is what got me involved in the first place.

I've come to terms with the fact I'm gonna have to work 70 hours a week to afford my next car. I'm cool with that.

Just lately modified cars seem to have become more common around Wolverhampton/Dudley and the organised meets around here get hundreds turn out.

depends what you would class as modified i guess.

I think there are less, and i pay more attention now than i used to.

We live in a generation where 'if its broke replace it' rather than fix it. People are also lazy as fuck, cant be doing with modifying.

Probably a good thing though, before it was dickheads in modded nova's causing grief on the streets, now its idiots in standard corsa's.... Looks better for us
